The 17' omni-directional antenna comes in three easy to assemble sections. Insulated up to 14,500 Volts and can handle 2000 Watts of power. The 1/2 wave antenna with 3.2dBI gain, SWR tuning and broad bandwidth covers far above and below the traditional CB channels. Heavy-duty mounting plate withstands greater wind loads. Can be used for export, commercial, and 10 Meter ham radios.

1. Does it come with the mounting hardware?...............

No. There is a separate Ground Plane kit that is sold separately (Solarcon GPK-1 Ground Plane Kit for Model A-99 Base Station Antennas).

2. Do I need 50 feet of rg 213 coaxial cable.

The Solarcon A-99 antenna has a PL-259 connector, so you can use coax at the length needed for your application. You will need the coax to terminate at the antenna with a PL-259 connector. Most people use a low loss RG8X coax with this antenna.

3. How is the SWR tuned on Antenna or is it pre-set?

The antenna is pretuned to the middle of the CB band (27.205 MHz). You can also tune it yourself using the instructions that come with the antenna. You will need a SWR meter to accomplish this task.
